Summary
He leaned back against the sundial, his heavy lidded eyes never leaving the sight of the ruins of Mondstadt in the distance. How did this happen and why did his feet lead him here? He’s too tired to try and remember but he did have a small recollection of a certain bard urging him to come here despite his hesitance. He clutched the deep injury on his stomach as he let out a shuddering breath.
He closed his eyes momentarily and when he opened them again, he didn’t expect for a woman whose body is transparent to be kneeling down in front of him. He didn’t have the energy to ask, he only blinked his eyes slowly.
“Hello… star-pupiled child. My old friend must have told you to come to me as a last resort.” the woman said as she smiled so gently. “Do not worry. I’ll grant your deepest wish and I hope this would be enough to change the outcome of this… dreadful war.”
He felt her hands cradling his face in a motherly manner and he closed his eyes. The last thing he remembered was a soft touch on his forehead and the cool and yet comfortable wind surrounding him in an embrace.

Aether didn't expect this. But well, since he and Paimon have been just finding useless or harmful information, this one isn't that bad.
The two just didn't expect to be surprisingly adopted by the local drunkard three times winner best bard, who is actually the God Anemo, who also apparently has an adoption compulsion problem along with a shit ton of trauma and who is actually extremely serious and wears a facade more often than not.

“Well yeah,” Venti said as he walked into the office. “There’s demonic magic and its counterpart, celestial. Magic can be drawn from the earth itself— and spirits, but that usually delves into stuff like necromancy, which is a big no-no in every single faction out there. And then of course there’s witches and magical creatures like… A DRAGON?!”
The blood drained from Venti’s face as it struck him that those feelings from earlier had not simply been, “just nerves.” His whole body shook as he stared at the creature on the office floor, barely managing to pull himself together to put the coffee tray down on his desk before rushing forward and kneeling. He froze, unsure of what to do. Ganyu and Yanfei were yelling something but it was all fuzz in Venti’s ears. The only sense in his body still working, it seemed, were his olfactory organs.
It smelled like a witch.

He walked. He walked until the sun lay low, the sky ablaze with orange and red hues, which were stretching for miles and miles. He walked until the cold ocean breeze kissed his feverish face. The wind took as much warmth as he could offer and gave nothing in return , leaving behind only a cold vessel. He subconsciously walked to where his journey in Liyue started. To where he met him for the first time.
Or: Tartaglia manoeuvring through life after his friend's betrayal and everything only to find out that said friend made another deal with his Archon, which only complicated everything more and turned his whole world upside down. But surprisingly, the contract proves to be advantageous for him after a particular incident in Fontaine… Hopefully nothing goes downhill, right ?

Going up and down and back up again… and finally, back down, she mused, was as ridiculous as a game of snakes and ladders. Her mind drifted back to that fleeting moment in her childhood. Aether had sat across from her, giggling madly, his piece now firmly in the lead at the row of squares two above her. He always managed to avoid the snakes! It wasn’t fair! Why was she the only one who slid down and climbed up and did it over and over and over again only for him to keep on the same path, steadily climbing until he won the game!?
A win for me is a win for you, silly sister of mine.
The coo in Aether’s young voice lifted her spirits as it reverberated through her mind. In her memories, he was always joyful, always content, always hopeful. She hoped… no… She wished beyond all wishes that somewhere deep inside, he still held that spark.
“As long as you’re with Venti… As long as you win this game, Aether… I’ll climb to the end. No matter how many times I fall. Without fail.”

Do you want Venti and Decarabian to be allies, realizing they are not so different? To see Venti go back to the comfort of their old form in some attempts, and have to adjust to a human body in others? Do you want their relationship with the Bard to be platonic, romantic, antagonistic, even fake siblings depending on the cycle? Do you want both mischief and sorrow? To see Venti try and fail? Do you want to see Venti spend centuries with the family he/they will inevitably lose, while for them it’s just a few years at most depending on the cycle?
You don’t need to read the previous volume since the ending is canon compliant, but everything would have more meaning that way since I reference a lot.

Please be careful when handling diethyl ether, and absolutely do not expose it to heat or flame.
Ajax has been a part of the Fatui for over a year now. Thanks to his abundance of passion for combat, he's advanced past his peers at an unforeseen rate. By special order, he is relocated to the capital city of Snezhnaya for an exclusive month-long training program with a famous Inazuman swordswoman. He meets a new recruit by the name of Zhongli, who not only matches Ajax's skill in combat, but also seems to be harboring some type of secret regarding his identity and his intentions in joining the Fatui. The two of them grow closer over the course of their training. As their graduation date grows near, so too does the unraveling of a narrative that reaches far beyond what Ajax ever could have imagined.

Being the outcast of the Seven was never easy. Neither was being judged for his drinking habits, or thought by others to take everything for granted, not deserving his position between the Seven.
But what helped was that they never pronounced those thoughts aloud, so Barbatos could act as if he never noticed the cold stares, the judging looks. That was until he came in late to one of their most important meeting.
So what happens when Barbatos goes missing, and the only sign that he is alive is the slow and steady beating of his gnosis, connected to the other archons'?
Or an AU where the Original Seven are still alive and never died, and judge Barbatos too harshly. But we still love them.
PS: as of the 2.6 update, which is the time I started writing this fanfic, we know nothing of the former archons thus why they might be ooc, but for the sake of the story, we're going to ignore it. I just changed the name of the Dendro Archon to her original one because, for those who will see this in the future, this fanfic wasn't posted when 3.0 came out, so it was easy for me to just put Rukkhadevata instead of Kusanali.
