Weeks before the first letter arrives on the Dursleys' doorstep--before he knows the truth about his parents or Voldemort or anything about the wizarding world--Harry Potter is introduced to a very different kind of magic. When Snape returns to continue his role as a spy he realises he has a dire decision to make - risk his life to try and save the son of his enemy or live with the guilt of watching Lily's son die at the hands of his former master. The consequences of his choices are far reaching and change the course of both of their lives from that moment forward.
