Sometimes angrily wants to fool the gods or whoever plays with them into putting them into dangerous situations and being rescued by the other. Since saving him at that moment, before keeping their collaboration he thought it was just that, allies uniting against the indestructible weight of unseen enemies and a darkness in every corner.
Something changed in him...
This is more than a collaboration...and if that's the way the two of them will fall into this warm abyss....

Howerver when a god from a different era is reborn from the Sacred Flamme, Natlan is forced to abandon their peace efforts and fight a war to "end all wars".

Still, it was trivial as far as he was concerned.
The real question that bothered him was, “Where do I even start?”

Sometimes at night, when everyone goes to sleep, when no one sees her in the middle of the preparations against the Abyss, in her office in front of the flames that never end; she feels a familiar pain, as if something that should have been removed is still persistent in her body as well as in her soul. It's like she's forgotten something, someone important to her, but for some reason those pains or thoughts are so horrible that it's better to just walk away and move on despite everything that comes with it without knowing what it really is.
In the days to come, all that changed, the confusion and pain increased in her chest, and all because she saw HIM.

But it only ignited his protective instincts. His already inherent need to be there for her and be the reason she never has to cry. The reason why she can continue to be the bubbly personality they all came to know and love.
To be the one she'd always need the most even if he himself was still learning to navigate this relationship thing.
“I don't have all the answers. But we will figure this out. Do you trust me?”

Following the conquest of the Aztec and Inca Empires, the Spanish Crown turns to Natlan, a nation situated on the edge of Teyvat. An expedition fleet was dispatched, led by the renowned explorer Francisco de Alárcon (not a real person), to bring Natlan under the rule of the Spanish Monarchy.
All Spanish conquistador names and ship names are entirely fictional, but are based on real-life data taken from the expeditions of Hernan Cortés and Francisco Pizarro.
