Summary
This is a Reign fanfiction, in which I write my original character into the story and change several story events and plots from the show. The fic begins before the events of Reign, with the story really picking up around 1554, three years prior to Mary’s arrival. I added the warnings, even though many of them do not come into play right away. The main character (oc), Inès Chevalier, is only thirteen when the story starts progressing. However, in 1554 that would have made her mere months away from marrying age. The perspective is third person, limited, told almost entirely from Inès’ view with her perceptions and empathic abilities. This should span several years and she has intense relationships with the main cast.

This is a story about the lives of different children with Sith for parents, and how they are treated by their guardians. It is a SWTOR fanfic and begins just before the end of the prologue for the Sith Inquisitor story.
Under orders from Lord Zash, her apprentice Rajaqa describes her life to another Sith apprentice, Tauber. She begins with her childhood enslavement and purchase by Lord Kurnaz, the mother of Ffon Althe, and will continue until shortly after The Black Talon's raid on the Brental Star during her 20th year.
Rajaqa has been ordered to reveal her secrets to Tauber as part of her punishment for causing an embarrassing, highly public commotion when the two first met. Tauber & Rajaqa's tumultuous first meeting is described in Part One.
This particular section covers Rajaqa's life from age 4 to just shy of 13. But it primarily describes events during the First Great Galactic War and the joint adventures that caused Lord Kurnaz and Rajaqa's mother, Sabir Stillgar, to form the rarest of bonds among the Sith: genuine friendship. But friendship between Sith is complicated.

Nam-Gyu can barely stand, his body succumbing to the severity of his withdrawals once his adrenaline begins subsiding. He finds himself fidgeting with the sleeves of his jacket, pulling them past his knuckles before wrapping his arms around himself. Everything... the world... his body... it could all collapse into itself at any moment.
Then, there's Thanos, the only person moving at a desirable pace in Nam-Gyu's painfully slow world and Nam-Gyu's only glimpse of his life outside of these walls and the beautiful highs that wait for him.
Until he can chase those highs again, maybe he can chase whatever this feeling is that burns in the pit of his stomach whenever Thanos is close to him.

A combination of traditional post-game story and technical compendium, this is a story that has been ported over and hopefully refined.
The story takes place 10 years after the events of the mainline game, and focus on some of the lore elements that weren't deeply explored in the game itself, so hopefully some interesting tidbits for everyone.
What's a bit unusual about this story is that every other chapter will be a technical manual on the technology, culture and history of various nations and organisations in the world of FFVIII, which should hopefully provide some context as to how I think these organisations exist and evolve within and beyond the original story.
