Summary
" My lovely lotus flower, you're trembling.
Is it excitement consuming your soul, or am I the cause of your torment? "In this intimate exploration, we find Hwei in a moment of vulnerable solitude after a day spent painting. His artistic pursuits serve as both escape and reminder of his complex past with Jhin, the infamous Virtuoso. As he grapples with memories of their fateful summer together, the weight of their shared history overwhelms him, leading to an intensely personal night of reflection and desire. Having left Koyehn behind, Hwei now finds himself on a quest for information about Jhin, but the search proves to be as much internal as external. The night unfolds as a journey through memory and sensation, as Hwei surrenders to his most private yearnings, seeking to fill the void left by the man who both elevated and destroyed him. Through his desperate acts of self-pleasure, we witness the lasting impact of Jhin's influence - how he remains both muse and tormentor, inspiration and damnation.

Summary
The full moon hung high in the sky, illuminating the garden and the koi pond. It would look majestic were it not for the overwhelming silence that consumed the estate. Not even a cricket dare to sing.
Quietly, a young scholar walked the empty walkway, each step sounding like a whisper in the dead silence. He tightly closed his hanfu as a cool breeze stroked his cheek and hair. He raised his expressive eyes to see the archway and the silhouette of a tall figure resting against the pillar. As he drew closer, he picked up other details, like the sheathed swords that rested on the older man’s waist.

Summary
Khada Jhin did not feel emotions.
When freed from Tuula prison, he was employed by the Ionian government as an assassin, and shortly after, he got a mission. An ancient temple and conservatory of the arts... One could use some inspiration after 16 years of prison, however mediocre it was, right?
What he didn't expect was that the week long mission would stretch into a month, then another month... and eventually the whole summer, all because of a single painter who shattered his perfectly constructed world.

Summary
Note after note, uncertain, afraid, sorrowful. Then it would rise briefly, but never for too long. It was as if Jhin was catching it midair and gently pulling it back to Earth. As if the song itself was trying to escape him. Or perhaps he was trying to escape the song. Trying to escape the meaning of his hesitance, trying to escape the words hidden in the melody.

Summary
“If you’re asking I go easy on you, Hwei, I’m afraid it’ll be on deaf ears.”
The eye contact held between them both was electric. Hwei was so excited he felt like he could have fainted, and he wanted nothing more than to lean in and let himself touch his lover, but the table between them served both as a proverbial and literal wall. There were people here, and, although Jhin had a way of breaking down much of Hwei’s dignity, he still had the self control to not do something as barbaric as relieve himself out in the open. He was trapped in his seat, and Jhin was reveling in every moment of it.
“... I’ll… wait then,” he mumbled, clouded by the humiliation that followed from the mockery. Jhin nodded approvingly, evidently pleased by Hwei’s decision to obey.

Summary
“Ah, please don’t use your thrall on me,” Hwei said softly, gently pressing his hands against Jhin’s chest. He looked up at the older vampire with a plaintive expression, his eyes flashing a dull magenta, “I can do without it.”
“Do you want it to hurt? What a naughty little thing you are,” Jhin chided, clicking his tongue. His smirk morphed into a nasty grin as he stared down at Hwei, watching with rapt attention as his thrall relaxed the other’s body. Hwei practically melted into the mattress, his head falling back against the pillow weakly, exposing even more of his vulnerable neck to Jhin. “This is for your own good.”

Summary
“Does this scream Khada Jhin, the Golden Demon to you?” Hwei teased, finally letting go of his chin. No reply came, but he saw Jhin’s eyes glare up to him in the mirror. At least he knew his theory was right. Jhin was human, he had his weaknesses. “I thought not. Yet here he is, so he must have a name, mustn't he?”

Summary
this is what happens when jhinhwei girlies see nosferatu. :)
“It’s almost like they want to make it easier for me.” Hwei felt the voice more than he heard it, a sensual rumble that made his skin warm unexpectedly. He felt himself inhale softly as a heavy weight pressed itself against him. The thing was curled up against him like a lover, he braced himself for what would eventually come next. If anyone else were to happen upon him right now, all they would see was him breathing heavily, straining lightly against his bonds. Squirming against an invisible force. He hated the way this thing made him react, reducing him to nothing but a prey animal. Moreover, he hated the small part of him that was thrilled by this idea. The ugly part of him that was fascinated with the fact that at any moment, this horrible thing could kill him. Why hadn’t it? He knew why. His own power, albeit weak, over this thing terrified him.

Summary
“I am true to myself, Jhin. Please — I don’t know what you’ve heard, but —“ Hwei sucked in a tense breath, working in anticipation for an uproar of emotions. His voice trembled as he sucked in a breath, attempting to ground himself in his anxiety. “ — I’m not some child. I know who I am — and what I am.”
There was a beat of silence between the two of them, and Hwei’s eyes watched Jhin’s unreadable expression buffer for a response. He wasn’t sure what to expect — an insult, an apology, a pivot to another topic, but he got none of that at all. Despite everything, Jhin smiled as if he knew Hwei better than he knew himself.
“No. You are not.”

Summary
Like this, so close, he could hear the gentle clicking of Jhin’s tongue in his mouth and the way the ends of his words could curl into a hiss. It was subtle, and yet painfully clear with the slit-pupils in his viridescent irises and canines sharp enough to tear through flesh.
Hwei’s hand on Jhin’s side balled up in the fabric of his shirt, trying to calm his racing mind.
He never really liked snakes.
