“I know this is probably out of nowhere, but I want to say it before I convince myself I shouldn’t.” Marinette looked down at her feet, watching as Felix turned around to face her. “I hate that I always give up before I start things. That I think so much it convinces me to never try again. I want to change.” She paused, “I want to be able to make that change.”
(Basically just my own interpretation of how the original story would be based on the PV. Fair warning I've only watched up to 4 seasons of MLB because It got too confusing to continue, so I won't be adding anything from the later seasons. A lot of this is going to be me taking my own creative liberties on the material. The title is from the song "If I were." by Vashti Bunyan.)
