A Legacies S2 rewrite.
What if Hope’s plan worked? What if Malivore was defeated when she jumped into that pit? The loophole of the Tribrid, the only being capable of destroying Malivore, and with the intent of doing just that. Plus some angst just for the fun of it.
I have no endgame ships in mind, as I want to focus more on the idea of legacies—of sins of the father—than spending time trying to figure out how romance works and how to write a dynamic and realistic romantic connection.

This story takes place a few years after Legacies season 4. In this Hope did finally became the tribrid and defeated Malivore but she did not turn off her humanity. To stop the Merge from happening Lizzie still became a heretic. Hope, along with Lizzie and Josie decided to leave Mystic Falls and the Salvatore School to move on from all of the trouble that happened there. Hope, Lizzie and Josie went to college in New Orleans and after graduating they joined the new Supernatural Division. The SD is a section of the NOLA police department that deals with the supernatural. If a supernatural criminal starts killing people, it is the job of the SD to either capture them to imprison them or kill them if necessary. The SD is being led by Vincent Griffith. Things change when people humans wielding artifacts(Miraculum) with powers start causing problems. The only person that can stop them is Charlie Swan, a human son of a witch, who picks up his dead father's research having to do with the Miraculum to save the day.
