This is me writing my version of Rouge into the MCU and fixing the f*cked up endings a lot of characters got.
Ward was tricked, kidnapped, and experimented on by Hydra. He and Grace are queerplatonic siblings.
Coulson is Grace's bio dad who didn't know she existed until after she (20) and Ward (22) escaped Hydra. He adopted Ward's grumpy, traumatized ass.
Steve and Buck are bisexual boyfriends who meet bisexual girlfriends Grace and Skye{Daisy} and become a polycule. STEVE LEAVES PEGGY TO HER HAPPY ENDING WITH SOUSA, GFDI.
Ward and Fitz are bisexual and become throuple with Simmons. Bruce is a sex-positive asexual and has a queerplatonic relationship with Grace and one with Tony(who is the most chaotic pansexual).

Ward couldn’t help the wave of nostalgia that swept over him as he glanced again at the young inhuman girl that sat, no slouched, in the chair in front of him as if she owned the damn place. It reminded him of another time, years ago, when he had been sitting in front of a woman, equally as vexing as this girl, who taunted him with insults and jests and who caused a small flutter to erupt in his chest every time he laid eyes on her afterward.
This girl though, this girl seemed like she was cut from a different cloth than Skye had been. A rougher sort of cloth, one who wore a good bit more black and seemed to have a penchant for leather jackets and silence.
OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE ONE WHERE WARD ENDS UP HAVING TO WORK WITH THE DAUGHTER HE NEVER KNEW EXISTED.

She lifted the phone to her eyes, and tried to still the moving numbers. When they wouldn't stop moving, she placed her fingers on the keys and prayed that her muscle memory would be enough to do what she needed to do. She had to call the one contact that she had that wasn't affiliated with SHIELD in any way. Hopefully the one contact that wouldn't hurt her. Daisy took a deep breath and dialed a number that she prayed was still connected to a phone. It was a number that had been drilled into her head years ago, just after she had found a dead body hidden in the rafters of the playground.
