What he isn’t prepared to see is yellow. Yellow isn’t a color that is found in the Abnegation sector. It’s out of the corner of his eye, the vivid color perpetrating his vision. Hao turns to find a man with a yellow cardigan and green pair of khakis on. Amity. But why here?
The man has jet black hair, much darker than Hao’s own light brown. It makes a stark contrast with his pale skin and bright sweater. He looks out of place amongst the grey cement that surrounds him but yet Hao feels like he’s in the right spot.
Hao can’t tell what color the man’s eyes are from here but now he can make out his facial features. A small nose, big eyes, plentiful lips and his hair that falls over his forehead. He looks young but not too much younger than Hao. The Amity man’s smile turns into a neutral expression as he stares back at Hao. Hao can’t help but feel like he’s looking at the stars at that moment.
