Fear took up the entirety of his mind. His heart dropped to his ass and took off running, beating so fast he couldn’t keep up with it. He thought for the briefest of moments that Stolas might actually kill him right here in this bathroom when he opened his eyes and saw tendrils of black and red bleeding from the shape of him. In that second, Stolas being a Goetia actually meant something to Blitzø’s safety. He realized the possible consequences of denying him.
But it was over just as quickly as it happened. Before his gaze could focus properly, the powerful form was sucked back into him. Blitzø was frozen, the only movement was his chest with rapid breaths and the light shaking of his entire body. He stared intently at Stolas. There was a long beat of silence as they looked at each other, understanding what just happened. That was the first time Stolas had ever—figuratively—laid a hand on him. He could feel his view of the prince become permanently altered, a dark blot on his previously only annoying presence—a threat.
