Summary
After being killed and revived by Dream in prison, Tommy hides away in his dirt shack with Conner. A few days later Tommy sprouts a pair of wings. Queue big brother Quackity, who whisks Tommy off to Las Nevadas where he can be safe and happy.

Summary
After Wilbur's tragic passing, the matter of Tommy's custody is a mess. Phil can't care for him anymore, and foster care wasn't exactly an option, but thankfully, Dream steps up and offers to adopt him.
At first, Tommy thinks he's been given a second chance at family, another shot at happiness. It sours just as quickly. He spends years hiding bruises and isolated, completely hopeless. He sees no way out of Dream's grasp.
Salvation arrives in the form of Technoblade, an old, long-term friend of the family who he'd fallen out of contact with. He refuses to look away, to ignore the red flags in the way Tommy flinches, or the half-covered black eyes and split lips. It's hard, to undo years of abuse and manipulation, but he's always been stubborn.
Technoblade becomes his only hope for freedom, but things aren't that simple.
It's only so long until Tommy finally snaps.
[ Or : After Wilbur passes away, Tommy is adopted by Dream. He spends years suffering at his hands, until an old family friend, Technoblade, moves in next door, and becomes his only solace. But Tommy can only endure it for so long. ]

Everything is quiet, the world has paused and the only sound is the squelching of the knife he digs into his mentor's chest. The heroes behind him are silent.
Once he’s finished cutting into his mentor's chest he stands. He’s covered in blood and he feels powerful,
“Nightmare is dead. Nightmare will never fight again, Solaris will, Solaris lives.” He’s looking at the helicopters, right into the lens of the camera watching him. He’s shocked they haven't cut the cameras.
“I am Solaris, and I am not a sidekick.”
Tommy will not let himself be a sidekick, and if that takes getting a job at the hero tower to use information to prove that he is powerful, he will.

Tommy’s shaky as he glides over the rooftops, flapping every now and then to keep himself upright.
He glances behind him, on the lookout for the two heroes on his tail.
The Blade and Phantom are scaling down the building, a short distance away.
“Do you need me to pick you up, Crimson?” Ranboo asks.
“Sure,” Tommy replies, looking for a place to land. “Meet me at sector t-“
Tommy is interrupted by a force colliding into him, causing his body to slam into the nearest wall. His back hits the brick with a hard smack.
“Tommy?!” That’s Tubbo.
It takes a few seconds to orient himself. His spine throbs with pain, and his wing is bent in an uncomfortable position.
Whatever, or whoever, slammed into him is on top of him, pinning him down.
Tommy blinks and shakes his head. His eyes focus enough to see who’s in front of him. His breath stutters.
The hero Zephyrus stands in front of him, in all his glory. His wings are spread almost menacingly.
Oh he is so fucked.
-Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo each have a secret. With people looking for them, they are just trying to survive. Their lives completely change when they meet a family of heroes.

Summary

Summary
There is red. Red polluting the strings like a faint poison, enough so that most of the strings Dream could see was a mix of green to brown. But the red all branched off from–
Tommy.
The red is the brightest behind him, its glow matching the strength of a regular green string Dream could make before the crater incident happened. And the final piece of the puzzle finally clicked into place in his brain.
For the first time, Dream feels fear. Genuine fear of a little, bratty kid who was supposed to be nothing but a simple plaything for him.
Because Tommy wasn’t kidnapped.
He ran away.
And the red strings belonged to him.

Or, after Dream meets Tommy in exile and threatens to kill him over and over again, Tommy decides he’s had enough. From the beginning, he was always destined to lose, to suffer, to fall after playing hero. That was what the script told him to.
And he was fucking tired of following it.

After a while of Phil’s fake nonsense there was a shuffling sound. A sound of hoofs standing echoed through the room. He snapped his head behind him to look at the pink alien.
Or Philza is a human stuck in a fighting ring and Techno just joins him by being caught. Ranboo, Niki, Sneeg, Tubbo, and Tommy are freaking out and wondering where Techno, there captain, wondered off too this time.

Tommy's been a vigilante for a good couple months and its fantastic. The famous superhero Dream coming in to town could never mess this up for him. Nor the crackdown on vigilantes. Nor the more and more laws regulating the use of superpowers. Nor the family secrets his brother keeps buried under his nicotine patches. No. None of that could mess this up for him at all.
Note: This work is abandoned. Chapters 1-3 are fully written, 5-7 are partially written and the rest of the chapters are outlined. I had planned for this work to be a series and sequels are loosely plotted out.

Wilbur was shaking. The floor was cold and everything was dark. He couldn’t see and it made him on edge. More so sleepily since his bird brain registers the dark as safe. As if on cue, his inner bird chirped sleepily. He forced his eyes open. He couldn’t sleep. He didn’t know where he was, he couldn’t sleep no matter how much his instincts wanted to. He dug a talon into the palm, hoping the pain would keep him awake.
He took a shaky breath, hoping to calm his nerves. He was fine. Everything was fine. Except everything was not fine. Wilbur the prince of Avians was stuck who knows where! Gods above, how did he get here? When he told his father that he wanted to travel he didn't mean that he wanted to be fucking kidnapped!
There was the feeling of warm hands on his face and he froze. At first, he assumed they were from the shucks but these hands were different. They were careful, warm, and calloused. Wilbur felt the hands turn his head gently but firmly. A hand slid off one of his cheeks and fiddled with something behind his head. He had to stop himself from reaching up to grab the hand that slid off his cheek. The touch was oddly grounding and he mourned the loss of it.

When he finally manages to calm his breathing, his gaze fixes on the ground.
A rotting potato lies beside him. It almost looks like a mockery.
