Before everything happens, someone already craved some weird bites, someone already couldn’t bear the urgent need to devour his lover.
Since their first meeting, or even before their born, he craved Kaveh.A single look wasn’t enough. His blonde hair, his crimson eyes, his freckles, his behaviour, the way he talked... Alhaitham needed to devour Kaveh. He needed to taste his bare skin, to be destroyed by him. He needed to devour him whole. But the further Alhaitham goes with his thoughts, something unsettling starts to haunt his dreams. They’re persistent and they bother Alhaitham every night. The only thing that makes them less disturbing is Kaveh.
But when Alhaitham dreams again, one night, and a weird door appears, something feels off.
‘Someone’ order Alhaitham to open it but, as Alhaitham refuses, everything—even reality—starts to feel weird.

One day, he decided to let himself taste another liquor, one made of flesh and soul.
A glimmer of hope, after years, finally seems to float in a dense and dark liquid.
But after an odd and disturbing dream, the reality of Kaveh, his hopes, they all begin to be distorted.

“I won’t…” Kaveh tried to say, but speaking was taking far more strength than he had at the moment. His blinks were getting longer, and Azar’s image was getting fuzzy around the edges. It wasn't fair—he still had so much he needed to do.
…
So where’s the rest?
Alhaitham stared at the blank ending page, seeing nothing about a continuation like the past three books had. He flipped through the book again, just in case somehow in his binge reading he missed something that told him the next book would be delayed, the author was on a hiatus, or that something was going to happen at all, but there was nothing.
Really? That was it? What an unsatisfying ending!
Alhaitham gets up to do something about this frustration, but during his late night jog, he ends up finding himself in the mysterious nation of Teyvat right outside Sumeru City. Now, he might actually have the power to do something and help his favorite character, Kaveh, get the happy ending he deserves.
