Typically, Zelda’s not a linear series, every game has a different version of Link and Zelda ‘cept BOTW and TOTK. These ones are meant to be played in order.”
Ochako’s fingers tingle at the tips, like she’s brushed them against an electrical socket. She stares at the screen, her eyes reflecting the warm LED lights, the cool, bluish TV hue.
“I’ve got rules.” Bakugou says.
Ochako’s eyes widen in realization.
“You’re gonna let me—“
“I got rules, Round Cheeks,” He huffs, interrupting her. “This ain’t a damn free for all, you can’t come in here touching my PS5 whenever you want.”

Or, in the comfort of the dorms and the unexpected peace her second year at UA affords her, Ochako can admit that she wants, and her financial situation leaves her unfulfilled. Bakugou, surprisingly enough, helps in ways she didn’t know she needed.

Summary
He turns around and Kaveh is there, confused and bleeding out in his worry.
“Are you okay?” He asks like a plea. His fingers twitch against the urge to reach out—Al-Haitham knows by now that it is one way he expresses his love. As if the love itself is not enough, as if it cannot be felt unless it is drawn into skin, gauged into the heart. But, Kaveh knows him too, and knows that even a touch borne from love would be too much, would splinter him apart, so he restrains himself. That restraint brings Al-Haitham back to himself, just for a moment. Just long enough to look at Kaveh and see Kaveh.
Al-Haitham opens his mouth. The words almost don’t come—he can feel them, sinking into his stomach, dying, or perhaps hiding away, too tired to fold into sound. But, miraculously, he opens his mouth and something comes out.
“…need to cover the flowers.”

Or, in his weaker moments, small things remind Al-Haitham of his grandmother, and suddenly, he is made of grief.

Xiao wraps a strand around his thumb.
“And I like doing it. It’s beautiful.”

Xiao sighs. “Aether—“
“Shh, Xiao,” Aether says, cradling his face. His fingers come up to sweep beneath Xiao’s eyes. They’re so gentle, they almost tickle, and Xiao melts into them, his eyes fluttering. “Just let me have this.”
Xiao cannot deny him anything.

“Trust me?” He whispered, and his mouth ghosted the tip of Denki’s ear. He loosed a truly embarrassing sound and shook like a leaf in his grasp.
“Just for a second,” He croaked. “Please don’t push me off.”
The man rumbled with laughter. Denki felt almost physically ill.
“I wouldn’t dream of it, sunshine. Just hold on tight for me. I’ll tell you when.”
“You’ll tell me when what?” Denki spluttered. The man gave him a playful squeeze. Great Goddess of the cosmos.
“One…”
“One what? What’s happening, what are we doing?”
“Two…"
“Hey man, c’mon, I think I—My stomach just swooped, I think I’m gonna be sick, wait—“
“Three!”
“WAIT, SHIT—!”
And, all at once, they were weightless.
Or, Denki is the loneliest person in the world, so he decides to wish upon a falling star and swallow it for good measure.

Aether is beautiful. That is why Xiao looks. Why he will always look. Aether is a pool of sunlight, the first child’s laughter, a sky learning its name. Aether reminds Xiao of the dawning of the world. Before the maw of blackness and before Morax too. Before sin and salvation, when his existence was nothing more than a sentient dream. A breathing hope. A heart without a body.
“It is not a matter of wanting you, but a matter of whether I am worthy to want.” Xiao says.

AlHaitham’s face fell almost immediately, just as his body froze and realization washed over him. He stared at the earpiece in Kaveh’s hands, his eyes wide with shock.
