Cute but also sad groundhog day for Astarion, but he gets Gale in the end.

Summary
Astarion is sent to Waterdeep to bring the great wizard Gale Dekarios before his Master, Cazador Szarr for reasons Astarion can only assume untoward. But the magics within Gale accidently free Astarion from his former master.
And in doing so-- the pair learn the consequences.
Magic always comes with a price.
