“I didn't drain him, I fed. A girl's gotta eat.” Amber smirked, completely unapologetic.
“Look at him!” He turned Wilson around who swayed with dizziness as he was spun. “He can barely fucking stand.”
“I didn't do anything to him that he didn't thoroughly enjoy me doing.” Amber smirked and turned her attention back to their human. “Now, you have fun and be careful around that mutt tonight.” Amber stroked Wilson's cheek and kissed him, ignoring the snarl on House's face. “I love you, honey.”
“Love youuu.” Wilson sang happily as House swung the door shut in her face.

Summary
All this time, he realizes— all this time, he's been making the choice to take the high road, to be the person for her that he wishes he had when he was going through the same things she's going through. He wants to allow his anger to destroy all of that because he knows he owes her nothing.
But that's not true either, because he owes her everything. She's the puzzle piece that fits them all together. She makes Wilson happy. She makes Wilson feel loved and respected and cared for in ways that House couldn't achieve on his own.
