Curious, Xie Lian brought a hand to it, and he traced the delicate filigree that ran along the edges of the box. Hua Cheng seemed to think that he knew what it was, but he really couldn’t recall. It wasn’t until his hand laid flat on the lid of the coffer that something suddenly clicked, and it brought a mortifying memory to the surface.
All the blood quickly drained from his face, and he clutched the lid tightly enough to whiten his knuckles, too.
“You already know what this is… don’t you?” he asked meekly.
“I do,” Hua Cheng confirmed. “But I’m curious to know where you found such a thing. Won’t you tell me?”

Nestled within the box was that dreadful child-bearing pill that was almost gifted to Hua Cheng a while back.

Good thing they’re just dreams, right? Otherwise he’d never be able to look Luo Binghe in the eye ever again.

Binghe froze under his hands as Shen Yuan brought him into the most gentle hug he could manage. “Still crying?” He asked, only just keeping the unsteadiness out of his voice. He was naked and this was a sex dream and Binghe was crying all over his dick.

Later, Shen Qingqiu would not be able to say that maybe it was the wine that led to disaster. No, it was definitely the wine that led him to disaster, but usually people at least pretended like they didn’t know exactly why and how they fucked up. Shen Qingqiu couldn’t even do that, that was how obviously the wine was a bad idea.
