Summary
This will be my very first fanfic EVER. So I ask for your patience and understanding.
Part 5 volume 8 spoilers
I had and idea about, what if Mestionora and/or Ewaermen directly interfered when Myne tried to save Ferdinand. This would crush Myne like in "A Path Forward" and she would want to seek vengeance against the gods that took her mentor and her family from her. Also just things I thought would have been cool if they had come to be like, what if Rozemyne actually had taken the knight course or had used the animalistic instincts of Bonifatius as a way to justify changing certain events in the reweave. Got some other ideas, just not sure how to accomplish them yet.
Hopefully this will be an enjoyable umptenth Retrograde for Ascendance of a Bookworm.
I have also taken inspiration from other fanfiction so hopefully none of you will be offended if I take a little creative license with some ideas from other FF.

Where an orphaned girl with Scorch Release who DEFINITELY isn't in love with her friend tries to bring him/her/them back to the light. Alongside her is her best friend and properly trained ninja with an unsupportive family, Sakura, and a suite of other friends who have her back, despite the whispers of the village. She tackles the darkness of the world, greeting it with a smile that sometimes, feels like a facade.

Rozemyne, the first daughter of Aub Ehrenfest, was a pretty typical, energetic, and book-unloving five-year-old girl. Until one day, suddenly and with no warning, one night, she developed a fever so severe that everyone around her thought - she would burn up into nothingness.
Urano Motosu lived her life sustained by books and the food her mother made her eat. One day, an avalanche of falling books due to an earthquake killed her. She awoke unasked in the body of Rozemyne. Luckily, in her new life, books are only one language barrier apart from her. Since there was no return to her old life, she decided to live a comfortable rich girl life reading, managing, and expanding the book collection in the Ehrenfest castle book room - if it weren't for her noisy grandmother unnecessarily meddling with her perfect life plan.
