Four people stood together, their faces frozen in time by an artist’s skilled hand. A tall, imposing male stood at the back, his wings partially unfurled and his face a stern mask of authority. Beside him was a woman with flowing black hair and warm eyes, her delicate features radiating grace and quiet strength.
But it was the two children that caught Nyx’s attention.
A boy with a mischievous grin, his violet eyes alight with laughter, perhaps a few years older than Nyx himself. And a little girl with her mother’s dark hair and a set of tiny wings tucked neatly behind her. Her expression was full of mischief, as if she had just been caught in the middle of a prank.
Nyx frowned in confusion. He recognised the boy—it was his father. Younger, smaller, but undeniably Rhysand. But the others…
“Who are you?” Nyx whispered to the painting.

"Feyre, darling," he said, his voice low and controlled despite the turmoil within him. "As much as I’m delighted by the present circumstances, I need you to tell me, plainly and simply, why you're in my bed. Why you're... like this." He gestured vaguely at her form, and she wasn’t sure if he was referring to her being naked or her being High Fae.
Her smile returned, her hands sliding down to rest on his shoulders. “First of all, this is our bed. And second of all, because I’m your mate, you idiot. Did you hit your head last night or something?”

Rhys's drink is spiked by Keir in the Court of Nightmares and temporarily loses his memories back to when they were still UTM. He is pleasantly surprised when he wakes up with Feyre in his arms, kissing him and wishing him a happy birthday.
