Summary
A week before the Battle of the Eagle and Lion, the prelude to Edelgard’s continental war, three interesting things happen to her:
1. On a routine mission, she meets a mysterious green-haired girl and becomes a god. The girl proceeds to enroll at the Monastery(?) at the Archbishop’s personal request(???) and declares herself Edelgard’s ally in her quest to destroy the church(?!?!?!)
2. Hubert tells her that he trusts Dorothea—Edelgard’s chestnut angel, who she would die for in a heartbeat, who she had resolved never to see again after the winter’s end—with her life. Even weirder, he wants to be friends with her.
3. She discovers her beloved childhood friend, Dee, right under her nose—and squarely on the opposite side of her inevitable war.
On the bright side, she has plenty to talk to her sister about.
