Summary
So, I'm bad at writing summaries for anything. This is my first fic, but I've been working on this death note au for awhile.
basically what you need to know:
The timeline is more modern than the actual death note canon because I conceptualized this fic around modern times. So the Kira case ended in 2017.The case ended with the Higuchi arc, the Kira task force finding Higuchi and Light Yagami not coming in contact with the Death Note. Don’t worry about why he doesn’t, just know he doesn’t. Everything else proceeds like normal, no major changes. Higuchi is apprehended and arrested for being Kira, although L still believes that Light Yagami and Misa Amane were the first and second Kira. This fic takes place 5 years after the arrest of Higuchi. Light Yagami works for the Japanese Police Force, everyone got their jobs back, and his father has retired.Series
