Emily curled her lip into a smile, knowing Jennifer’s remaining patience was quickly wearing away. “Anyway, if you’re good, I'll give you a reward.” She slowed down her drying, only teasing the blonde more.
“And what will this reward entail?” JJ had taken to drawing soft patterns of her neck, swirling her tongue around her sensitive areas, a tease of what is yet to come. Emily let out a breathless sigh at the feeling.
As she turned around, she saw a sultry, predatory smile itch its way onto JJ’s face, something she never thought she’d see 17 years ago. The truth was, that ever since she had met Jennifer Jareau, she thought she would never be able to take her eyes off her ever again.

"It’s not fair, Rio.”
Rio closed her eyes again, envisioning the life she had wanted with Agatha—the small moments, the laughter, the shared secrets under starlit skies. But the image was marred now, painted over with the ache of impending separation.
"Yeah." Her voice was quiet and laced with grief.
She honestly thought that once she re-emerged back into Agatha's life they could be back together. They could go into her realm, despite needing Agatha to die and have a life together with Nicky.
“It's time we stop fighting,” she said, her voice almost a plea. “You need to let me go. It’s the only way I can be free.”
Rio’s heart thundered in her chest, the conflict raging inside her like a tempest. “Free?” she scoffed, the bitterness souring her words. “What you call freedom feels like a death sentence to me.”

Summary
Tonight, she’ll lay in her bed, for the first time in three centuries and be bombarded by memories of smiles and laughter. It’ll feel like a knife twisting in her black beating heart that died a long time ago.
Rio will tell herself that she can go on without Agatha, but then the thought of mourning her lover for longer than she’s known her will break down her walls until there's no more.
Occasionally, the anger will come back. The same anger which will possess her into cracking worn mirrors and dressers. The memories of fights and arguments will tarnish her soul.
Rio will tell herself that she hates Agatha, that she should be angry and filled with rage at what she had done. And, she’ll try and hold onto it.
But it never lasts.

Summary
Inching her way closer to Agatha, Rio puts her hand on the table, cautiously close to Agatha’s wrist. “Like old times?”
“Work and play,” Agatha whispers.
It takes Rio back to their many misadventures, like that boat in 1912 or those towers in 2001. She remembers the fire in Agatha’s eyes mixed with sheer annoyance at Rio’s presence — like she was trying to suppress her feelings. She always failed that task, letting Rio fall into her arms again and again.
Just the memory makes Rio let out a subtle moan.
Noticing it, Agatha asks. “It could be nice, right? I just need these witches to get me to the end.” She lets her pinky intertwine with Rio’s, which makes her unexpectedly shiver. “So, you tell me — what happens next?”

Summary
Agatha bared her teeth as she spotted the hand cupping her head in the photo along with the marks left along Rio’s body. What was most infuriating was the accompanying text that read: agnes was way more fun than you.
Or, thanks to a photo Rio texts her, Agatha finds out exactly what she'd been up to as Agnes and decides to get even.
