Summary
The volcano rumbled like a hungry beast. Kai could feel the smoke breathing down his neck. Lloyds screams were almost drowned out by the crumbling sound of rock as the volcano ate itself alive.
Kai could see the silver fang blade slipping into the molten lava. Lloyds pleading face looked at him from across the Lava.
Kai weighted the options in his head. His choices under pressure could be notoriously terrible, but with the heat rising up his spine, he knew what he had to do.
He just Hated that he had to do it
He grabbed the fang blade and ranOr alternatively: what if Kai had chosen the fang blade over Lloyd and never reached his true potential? What if Lloyd, angry and bitter about being left behind and mad at himself for not being good enough to save, woke up in the cursed realm?
What if a certain Wind Emo took him under his wing?

OR -- I wrote a chatfic like it's 2020, except it's a TMA/Mechs crossover that really never should've left the dark crevices of my brain that it crawled out of. Featuring a vast array of homosexual hijinks, innumerable octokittens, emotional constipation to such a degree that no amount of laxatives could fix it, and a fuckload of explosions.
ALSO -- This fic contains violence. And character death. Personally, I wouldn't say that it warrants any archive warnings, as I personally wouldn't consider it graphic and, although it is character death, the characters in question are kind of immortal, so, y'know. But I'm using 'chose not to use warnings' because others might consider it graphic or MCD. Please bear this in mind, and look after yourself :]
