"Morgan Potter, who was apparently Petunia’s niece, was an oddity. She was neither playful nor loud, as many of the children were; she was no great genius — in fact she did rather poorly in school; and even those adults who met her randomly on the streets of Little Whinging thought her expressionless face and cold green eyes intimidating. Only the irascible, old crackpot Mrs. Figg ever treated her with kindness, for the neighbourhood children were cruel and Morgan was, by all accounts, quite small for her age, and very, very odd."

Summary
Hecate Potter just wants to be left to her books, left to learn all of this new magic. Unfortunately, that seems increasingly unlikely as her time (starting as a fifth-year, mind you!) at Hogwarts progresses. She’ll just have to settle for survival.
A story in which an OC takes on the role of Canon!Harry Potter. Due to being far more interested in studying (Ravenclaw!), as well as possessing a rare aptitude for certain magics, she rapidly develops in her proficiency as a witch. Unfortunately, Voldemort is in a league of his own, and he certainly won't be defeated by a bunch of children straight out of Hogwarts.
Will the world end with a bang or a whimper? Or neither?
