Summary
Rex has lost count of how many times Ahsoka has drifted from his life, only to reappear like the tide—always retreating, always returning. He knows the pattern all too well, yet each time she slips away, he clings to that rhythm—guards it, nurses it, cradles it as though it were the very pulse of his being, so close, and so necessary, that one might mistake it for his own battle-hardened heart.
The waves crest in blue and white before receding into the vastness beyond, only to break upon the shore once more. Just as she does. Just as she must.
But tides are not promises, and the sea does not keep what it carries away. The sea is relentless, and the Force is vast.
The Force is beyond his control, and she is a force beyond his reach.
Such is the rhythm of the tides. And such is the way of the Force.

Summary
After May's sudden disappearance several months ago, Steven Stone discovers a letter left behind by the lost champion. Filled with instructions and clues leading to other letters that she hid around the country, these letters now serve as guides to finding her, and Steven decides he has no choice but to be a part of May's game if he ever wants to find her. But the more letters he discovers, the more he fears what lies at the end of this path. After all, she is the Icarus of their world, and he can only hope that she didn't fly too close to the sun.
