Summary
A soul from Earth is rescued by the Emperor and makes a deal to help defeat the Absolute in order to find out why they had been brought to this new universe. In exchange, they are given a new body and a chance to influence the game that they had once played in their past life.
This story sticks closely to BG3 canon. This author knows very little about dungeon and dragon's, Baldur's Gate lore, and writing in general.

Life on the isles has finally settled into peace. Witches and Demons practicing magic freely without nonsense labels. Sigil magic being undone. The Scars of the tyranny of Belos finally healing once and for all. Unfortunately, Belos has a contingency. Leaving behind a shell to be used as a weapon for his vile soul and hatred to bloom.
Can the shell of a monster learn to deny its hate filled birthright? Or is the very essence of the evil emperor purely monstrous? Once Luz goes missing and Hunter gets attacked... It will be up to Hunter, King and the Collector to find her and stop the second coming of the Day of Unity.

(or where Belos forgets Philip and everything involving being a human and a witch hunter. All he has is Belos Goldborn, one of the last two survivors of House Goldborn, and uncle of a very anxious young boy. The re-contextualization of his life brings many changes in himself.)
