Summary
Haru Okumura didn't have a choice to go back. Yet when faced with the opportunity to save those she cared about, she can't pass up on the chance. She refuses to let herself be puppeted by this grand game beyond her for any longer, cutting her strings and moving forward to prevent the tragedies that plagued her life.
Her first order of business was to stop her father's killer from gaining the resources needed to rise to power, to complete that, a certain puppet's strings need to be cut as well.

He could just sleep right now, he knew none of them were going to save them, if anything, they were most likely dead, killed because he didn’t comply with Monokuma’s threats. No one in the game was going to save him, they saw him as a villain, his plan went perfectly. He missed them. He lay there for a while, thinking of what to do. Hoping for the small chance one of them escaped, he had trust in his subordinates, his friends.
He simply waited for the light, and once it shined he felt his consciousness drift.
“We found another one!”
“How did you find more? We already accounted for everyone, dead and alive,”
“Which one do you think is stubborn enough to survive?”
“Oh…“That bastard just won’t stay dead will he?”

Summary
During the fight with Yaldabaoth, the False God of Creation, in a final gambit, unleashes one final attack on the exhausted Phantom Thieves, killing both himself and them. Just as the Thieves' souls are about to return to the Sea of Souls, Philemon appears before them and offers them a choice. Return to the sea to be reincarnated, or start from the beginning. For a group of outcasted young adults, the answer to them was obvious. But will this fresh start end the same? Or will unexpected events change what they know. Joker, leader of the Phantom Thieves, stands before them.
He jumps from the pillar of ice he’s perched upon, flipping, landing perfectly on his feet, looking no worse for wear. His face softens, and he smiles, stepping closer. But the Phantom Thieves of Heart are on their guard--they take a step back, and their leader laughs, mock-offended by their display of distrust.
