“Made a mistake coming back here, didn’t you?” one of the men says, the voice is just behind him and close enough that Hughie’s certain he can feel the hot brush of breath even through the hood over his face - he sucks in another gasping inhale, thick fabric pulling into his opened mouth and getting wet with his own spit when someone’s hands curl in around his hips, dragging him back against the firm body behind him.
