The first part of what is genuinely the best series of deltarune fic's i've ever read.
Re-Read Dare to Dream recently, and knowing where the story goes, I've grown to appreciate how well written this first fic is. It simultaneously establishes some of the plot-lines that are developed throughout the series, while also just being a cute and fluffy ship-fic that set's up Suselle, before things progressively become more serious (but still gay) in the later fics of the series.

Summary
Noelle Holiday is entering her final year of High School. It's been four years since her sister's death. She's on her way to the fanciest college her parents can get her into, to get a degree in...something. (She hasn't quite figured that part out yet.) Noelle can't stop letting people talk over her. And finally, she is hopelessly in love with another girl, and it's only a matter of time until her mother finds out.
Susie Sauria is entering her final year of High School. Susie knows that she's never going to be able to make anything of her life. She has one (1) friend, and is reasonably sure they'd ditch her if given the chance. Her family is teetering on the poverty line. Susie wants to move out, but that would require her to have a place to go afterwards. And finally, she's stuck getting tutored by the smartest girl in her class, and it's only a matter of time until that too falls apart.
At the moment, they couldn't be more different. But through heartache and hardship, they'll find themselves inexorably drawn together. A lot can happen in one school year, and this is one that they're sure to never forget.
