    "Can you not…" Optimus struggled to find the words as he took in just how unbothered Megatron seemed to be about the noise. As if he couldn't hear them. As if he hadn't realised what they were. Maybe that large fusion canon had blown out his auditory receptors? "Can you not hear them?"

    "I can," Megatron replied with a nod. A nod which was accompanied by a very nonchalant shrug of his large shoulder plates. "Why should I care? Why do you care? If you need to refuel, refuel."

But Starscream had come to an insightful conclusion during the hours he spent alone welding his wounds: D-16 had absolutely no idea what he was doing.
