Braime makes me SICK. to my stomach. they make me HEARTsick, they make me just sick in general. The gutteral noise of agony that was punched out of me when GOT ended and they ruined jaimes arc and briennes face when she wrote in the book--I've never been more snotty and miserable and wailing. Anyway with that said, this is my first bookmark of many, many braime fics I've read and not only does it begin to gently pat at and stitch and soothe the gaping wound in my heart they made, reading it also feels like being punched in the gut and spit on. so you KNOW it's got that authenticity. delicious.

I mean - it's fantastic, of course. I first read this when I had never seen a lick of GOT (a bad habit of mine, to jump into fandoms and have to do the research mid-story) but it thoroughly ruined me for the canonical plot. Where to even start? The relationship between Tywin and Arya is...beyond wonderful. So gratifying to see it develop and the ending really does get me teary eyed. The main romantic pairing, without giving too much away, is so complex and interesting and a great political maneuver that feels entirely realistic. They're also very sweet and I fear it gave me a hankering for the pairing that, due to its rarity, I will never sate. Tense and well thought out and gripping, the plot kept me enthralled for 400k+ words. I thank the good lord I can read so quickly because I devoured this again and again in the span of a day and I can't get tired of it. I feel like I should pay the lovely Kallypso to read this. Anyway. Fan or not, you need to read this. It certainly converted me.

It's such a masterfully balanced story, so perfectly bouncing between plots and characters without any difficulty or confusion, so delightfully clear, so well-done, so immersive, so--I could likely ramble about each and every tiny detail for hours and still not manage to hit the nail on the head of why exactly this story is so undeniably and simply exquisite. It speaks to me, in such a beautiful way. Among every single work in this pairing tag, this is my favourite and the one I'll happily consider as the best.

you guys don't even get how insane I am about this. premise is so good, like I will always eat up anything hollow discovers they're a person related, but not just that we get the epic lovely "hollow also gets a voice to cry suffering" and has to deal w new trauma anatomy! Genuinely my fave head canon I don't see it enough and the lovely dropoutninja does it so so so so well, writing is fantastic--oh, and grimmchild! Very sad wonderful. Can't recommend this enough
