"What the hell is going on in here?”" Eli asked sternly, looking between the two.
"Yeah, what’s with all the yelling?" Remi squeezed his way through his cousins, getting further into the room.
"What’s this about Volkov?" It was Creigh’s question that made Brandon’s eyes snap to Landon’s, a small smirk of his own on his lips. He crossed his arms as well, stepping towards the others, and turning to face Landon.
"Yes, Landon, what’s this about Volkov?" Brandon repeated his cousin's question, a faux innocent look on his face as he tilted his head. Now all attention is on Landon.
Landon looked at his twin in betrayal, "Seriously?"
Brandon shook his head, looking confusingly at his brother. "I don’t know what you mean, dear brother, maybe it’ll help if you explain it to the rest of the family?" he suggested, fighting down the smirk he wanted to show.
Landon seethed silently.

Summary
Kenshi slowly peels himself out of his suit jacket and dress shirt, trying to put as little strain on his blade wound as physically possible. Johnny stands in front of him, hydrogen peroxide, gauze, hotel towels, and a plethora of other first aid kit tools held precariously in his hands.
“I can do this part myself,” Kenshi insists. Johnny changes his grip to hold the medical supplies as best he can in his dominant hand, and eases Kenshi down onto the bed behind him with his free hand on his chest. Kenshi is embarrassed by how easily he goes along with the motion.
“It’s okay to let people help you, you know,” Johnny says as he soaks a washcloth with hydrogen peroxide. He kneels between Kenshi’s spread legs.
“I’m dripping blood all over your hotel room and I met you an hour ago,” Kenshi remarks. “I feel like you’ve done enough.”
Johnny shrugs as he tries to clean Kenshi’s wound without hurting him. He winces when he hears Kenshi suck a sharp breath in.
“You rushed outside to see if I was okay.”
Kenshi catches Johnny’s eyes, his expression puzzled.
“Yes?”
Johnny smiles.
“That’s so sweet of you.”

The bloodied stranger was seated on the ground, one knee up that he rested his arm on, his other stretched out slightly, back resting against the wall. Black tousled hair and tan skin. He was shirtless, only wearing formal suit pants and a pair of oxfords. Tattoos covered his muscled arms, filled with flowing demons, dragons and flowers with different lines and colors.
“Hey…”
Johnny carefully touched the stranger’s cheek, a shiver running down his spine at the contact.
So much for a normal vacation in Tokyo…
Yet one that would begin the changed arc of their lives, and connect them irreversibly, together.
