Summary
(It's a working title. I'm not sure if I'm even writing the same book the title was meant for anymore)
What if May was a nurse in Malibu CA who was the only one willing to deal with a drunk, probably high, Tony Stark after another one of his club parties. Much to her surprise, she's met with a quiet man who's silently crying while sitting against the wall in a private examination room.
Sitting next to Tony without a word, for there is obviously more going on in the genius's mind than intoxicants, May eventually hears a story about a doe eyed baby boy delivered to his door Harry Potter style with his DNA, and how he can't let the boy go, but he doesn't want to raise a child into his life like he was."If you were to hire me as your private nurse, I could raise Peter. All you'd have to do is make a paper trail of needing medical assistance so it wouldn't be too weird for me to bring my kid, especially when he's too young to be left alone and if it's a weird time."
Tony, who is in fact quite drunk but luckily nothing else, snorts in amusement. "And what's the catch?"
"I get a pay raise." May deadpans, causing Tony to start giggling uncontrollably.Series
