If Vi wasn’t going to study, Caitlyn would outpace her by sheer preparation. She’d take extra notes, attend every optional lecture, even dig into obscure research papers that their professor had only hinted at during office hours. Vi might breeze through on charm and natural talent, but Caitlyn had the power of discipline on her side.

Summary

Vi thinks it'll be a good idea for Caitlyn to learn how to fight in Zaunite style. Caitlyn knows this means she'll have to learn how to fight dirty.
