Summary
A tragedy in the Commonwealth sends two Railroad agents along real railroad tracks, headed for the Capital Wasteland. Ghosts from Deacon's past threaten to reveal themselves and Nora is worried she won't be able to hold it all together as synths chase them along their journey. Why are they only targeting her? What's waiting in the ruins of former DC? Why do the glances they give one another last just a little longer than they should?

Summary
Brotherhood of Steel radio transmissions are always the same: endless call signs and code phrases, logistics, coordinates, and military orders. Scribe Haylen of Recon Squad Gladius monitors it all. One day, however, an FM Station from Diamond City breaks through the static. The DJ is rambling and nervous, but the pre-war music speaks to her. She might even find the DJ, Travis Miles, charming- in an awkward sort of way. Then, one night, she decides to request a song.

Summary
General of the Minutemen, Charmer of the Railroad, and somehow, now, an Knight with the Brotherhood of Steel. One title of the three has her deep undercover with a mission to assassinate an individual at the very top; to destabilize the faction’s hold in the Commonwealth. It was for the greater good, though that didn’t stop her developing reservations about the task.
Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel, he’d been isolated from the rest of the world from a young age. Frustrated, he’d begun to take back what little freedoms he could. A cage made of gold is still a cage, and the infuriating and fiery new Knight just might hold the key. Or at least a trusty lockpick kit.

Summary
She was the Sole Survivor of Vault 111. She was the General of the Minutemen. She wore the personas like armor to protect herself from the harsh world of the Commonwealth, but also from the traumatic memories she still hadn’t shaken. She could barely even remember herself from before the war, from before the cryochamber. Who would she have to be to continue cutting a path through the wasteland, hell bent on revenge and the recovery of her son? Could she be that person? She couldn’t go through the trauma of losing another loved one in front of her, so she kept many at arms length. But one person seemed to soothe away those fears, softening the sharp edges that threatened to cut her down. Little by little, the charismatic Mayor of Goodneighbor chipped away at the armor she wore until she considered that maybe, just maybe, she could be Nora again.

Summary
There’s something in Blackwood’s gaze beyond the smugness. To consider it teasing implies a camaraderie that doesn’t exist between them. Any fondness they’ve ever held for each other, any kind regard, was burnt out years ago. Davos made sure of that. Aeron searches his eyes, staring deeper than he’s ever had leave to.
“You jest,” he says, incredulous. “About this?”
“I wonder what your uncle would say?”
It’s a marvel Aeron doesn’t reach across the table to strangle him. He ought to.

Summary
When Lucy MacLean starts studying in the town her father went missing in, so many years ago, she does so with a mission - to find answers. Why did he leave her and her brother? Was he a man struggling with the mental load of raising two children after the loss of his wife, or was there something more?
When she’s sent to do a profile on a nocturnal, elusive archivist, however, she finds more than she ever could have imagined. Why had so many people gone missing, all around the same time? Who was this Moldaver figure, their name scrawled in the corner of so many ancient newspapers, and why does Professor Cooper - frustrating, arrogant, handsome - insult the authors of the classics like he knew them, over a hundred years ago?

Summary
After the bombing of Shady Sands, Lucy never makes it back to Vault 33. Separated from her family, she’s taken under the wing of the Flame Mother herself: Lee Moldaver. When she goes her own way, Lucy makes a living in the wasteland as a physician and midwife. Eventually, it’s time to go back to the observatory—in the company of a bounty hunter.
“First, you’re gonna tell me what the fuck you put into that vial. Next, you’re gonna jump out of your seat and hand me back my fucking bag. Think you can sit pretty after stealing a bounty from me? You’re mistaken.” The Ghoul sounds furious.

Summary
The Ghoul sounds confident when he intuits her train of thought.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing that sky again for the first time.” He tilts his head up, follows Lucy’s gaze, points his revolver at the stars with his finger on the trigger. That’s bad trigger discipline, she thinks. “It never loses its charm, just gets harder to appreciate. You’ll see.”
The surface is an ugly and intimidating place, but Lucy is resolved to keep faith in the good, the human, the transcendent. Up here, people worth caring about are worth protecting. Even if it means going through hell.
