Summary
Tom Riddle had done a lot of things in his life. He's tortured wizards and muggles alike, murdered families, and wiped out bloodlines but it isn't until he's standing in front of the crib with no resistance that he realizes he's never killed a baby. He's not even sure if he's killed a kid. He tortured some of the others at the orphanage when he was a child himself, had definitely killed a few teenagers and ordered the death of a few others, but he was pretty sure he'd never actually ended a life under ten. Now, its easy to say you'll kill a baby and logistically it should be pretty simple, there's just something more difficult about doing the act itself. Everybody has a line. Lord Voldemort wonders if he's found his.
