Summary
After all that happened in Hawkins, the group moves on to a new beginning. The Byers are back in Hawkins living out a normal life. But everything is not so peaches and cream.
One person is missing from the group and that person is Mike Wheeler, no one has seen him since they graduated from high school.
But that's all not a new threat is coming, maybe it's an old enemy or maybe something else, who knows?

Summary
All it took was Percy turning back to help Cassandra when she fell that the entire story changes. This story will go through his backstory leading to his appearance in the Vox Machina comics. I'm only up to S1E40 in the streaming series, but I've watched the cartoon through multiple times, so expect a mixture of both versions of the character to be seen.
Plus, you know, he now prefers blood over wine.

Mash was an omega who was betrothed to an alpha in order to fix straining relation between two Kingdoms.
They both were young when they met.
Rayne, the alpha, had someone else who he loved so when Mash got his first heat he was called to complete the mating ritual but Rayne rejected Mash on the face and announced his second marriage.
But before the marriage when their heat and rut coincided Rayne ended up biting Mash's nape, half completion to their bond.
But Rayne considers that a mistake and leaves Mash alone.
The story takes a different turn when it's announced that Mash is expecting the heir of Kingdom Usagi.

It was January 1991, and Will’s struggle was finally over. He had, at long last, gotten the boy; the missing piece in his heart, the love of his life, Mike Wheeler. He had everything he’d ever wanted. But little did he know, standing in his open doorway on that brisk December morning, that the Mike Wheeler of his childhood was gone. As he processed this new reality and grieved the old one, Will had to understand what it meant to be in love with this version of Mike Wheeler, and decide if he even wanted that at all.
