The not-so-lonely Omega.

Chapter 6: Almost 4 months, part 2.

Chapter Text

Almost 4 months (part 2)

Kiji was nervous- so nervous.
Okay…he was doing this…He was really doing this.
He was gonna tell his co-workers…and then later, their boss. Kiji knew he wouldn’t be able to work here after the baby was born…but he was hoping he could stay here until he had somewhere else to go. Working at Nanba- you rarely leave the island. Once you start working here, you get a small apartment on the island to call home and that’s exactly what it is. Home.

Kiji didn’t have contact with family due to past occasions and stuff like it.He never had his father in his life and his mother wasn’t one of the best role models out there-
He had lost contact with his sister long ago and there was no way in hell he was gonna turn back to his ex-husband for help.

But he knew that it was gonna be great. He had money, he could find somewhere to live on land and they could live pretty well there. He could raise his child with stability and love and nothing was gonna change that. He was sure Momoko wouldn’t just throw him off the island though, she was a great person in general and he was more than sure that she would be happy for him.

’Well- one problem at a time Kiji-’

The supervisor of building 3 had called the others for a quick get together in break room during their breaks.
No one had really objected and he was so glad for that. Taking one deep breath, he enters the break room.
Most were there, chatting with each other. Kiji smiles nervously and enters. He’s greeted with smiles and waves. A few comments about his strong perfume AND heave makeup as well but hey, it’s Nanba prison after all!

A strong arm wrapped around Kiji’s waist.

” Yo, Kiji babe!”

Came the familiar voice of the loudest person in the world. Mitsuru, of course.Kiji smiled at him, used to the way Mitsuru usually holds onto him.

” Hey~ glad you could make it here!”

Kiji said to him. Mitsuru nodded,

” Anything for our Queen! So, what’s on your heart, dear?”

He asks and Kiji exhales happily.

” I have an announcement to make, actually- So if we all could quiet down some that would be lovely~”

As the Queen had ordered- they quieted down, turning their attention to Kiji again.
Kiji smiled, fidgeting a little in his spot.
Well. Here it was.
No turning back now~
Well, not that he wanted to turn back on his plans. He was sure they’d be happy for him as well-
Well. Hopefully they would be! He took a deep breath.

” Well- What I wanted to say was that I—…”

”DAMN those brats! I can’t believe how annoying they can be!!”

Oh right- Hajime!
Hajime marched into the room, well- more stomped!
Angrily throwing himself down on the couch and putting one of the cancer sticks between his frowning lips.
He lit the cigarette but he was never able to take a drag from it- It was ripped from his lips by no other than Kiji himself-

” HOW many times do I have to tell you to NOT smoke in here?!”

Kiji screeched at him- The usual stuff you know.
Hajime growled at him, reaching for the cigarette in Kiji’s hand.

” I don’t give a shit about your hair! Now give me back my smokes or i’ll crush you!”

”THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN MY HAIR!!”

Kiji raised his voice back at him.

" OH YEA? THEN WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM, BIRDIE?!"

” SMOKE HURTS THE BABY!!”--

Kiji screeched back at him, arm protectively around his growing stomach.

He hadn’t really thought about what he was saying-
He had just gotten so mad- He didn’t want his baby getting hurt because of Hajime’s smoking and he couldn’t take the smell anymore- made him nauseous!…

Oh right-Why was the room so quiet…?

Hajime looks so shocked? …

” What-…what was that…?”

He asked.
Kiji bit his bottom lip, rubbing at his arm slightly.

” O-oh...what I wanted to announce was that...I'm pregnant...ta daa...?"
