Izumi huffs, smirking a little at her level
She opens the first tab of the main menu, deciding to go through things tab by tab.

‘I have enough status points to add 174 to each stat and still have 6 points remaining.’
‘But, I’ll wait until I can get everything to a thousand.’
‘Okay, next would be Ghoul, just to see if anything changed in there.’
~Race~
Ghoul Abilities:
Ghoul’s Magic: User develops affinity for the three undead intrinsic magics; Nightmare, Shadow, and Blood. Due to the user being a ghoul, they gain extra affinity for Blood Magic, upgrading it to ‘Heart’ or ‘Gore’ magic.
Ghoul’s Weapons: User’s teeth and claws become strong enough to break through solid steel. Claws grow out to 3 centimeters from the cuticle.
Ghoul’s Heart: User’s heartbeat and body temperature are much lower than normal, giving them a pale complexion and also making them hard to detect with both [Detect Life] and [Detect Death]. Also allows the user’s heart to restart upon death, making it impossible to kill a ghoul.
Ghoul’s Health: User’s Max HP is doubled, (Calculation becomes, with all passives, VIT x 80) and user is made immune to all things that could afflict their bodily health from the inside. Poison, Disease, and other toxic substances no longer have any ability to harm the user.
Ghoul’s Rage: User can optionally go into a feral rage, activating Hysterical Strength until the user is at 50% health and doubling the user’s strength again, also grows the user’s claws out to a meter in length and sharpens all teeth.
Hysterical Strength: User is able to fully utilize their body and soul strength at will to increase their normal strength by up to double their normal. Tends to break parts of the body (Deals HP Damage while in Use, 5% per action performed)
Rot Eater: User’s diet allows for them to eat anything raw and uncooked, along with things that would normally be poisonous. Makes raw meat, diseases, parasites, and poisons taste good and smell good. And induces hunger when the user hasn’t eaten anything poisonous or diseased for long enough.
She nods to herself after reading through that. ‘Nothing much changed except the names of some things and it telling me what the Vitality Calculation is now. Granted I figured it out as soon as I read my health in the main status menu. Next is to check on Phantom of Mists…’

Level 5: Mistwalker: User gains double agility and dexterity when inside a cloud of fog or mist.
Level 10: Dispersed: User’s presence can be destroyed at will, completely eliminating even technology and magic’s ability to detect the user. Automatically activates when the user is within fog or mist and user needs to deactivate it willfully for it to turn off.
Level 15: Mist Hunter: When inside a cloud of mist, user can instantly tell where other beings are relative to them, and gains increased awareness of said being’s weak points.
Level 20: Herders: User can create illusions within the mist cloud to lead others somewhere, whether to help or to harm is up to the user. Herders may also gain the ability to physically pick up and bring any knocked out or killed ‘others’ out of the mists.
Level 25: Banshee: User screams, and any who the user selects take psychic damage, either being killed or knocked out on the user’s choice. Both user and targets must be within the mists for this feat to work.
Level 30: Mistrunner: Upgrades Mistwalker by adding an Agility increase along with Dexterity.
Level 35: Destroyed: Upgrades Dispersed by increasing the strength and destroying the user’s presence completely rather than just dispersing it.

Level 45: Carriers: Upgrades Herders by letting the illusions become somewhat physical in order to extract beings within the user’s mists out.
Level 50: Brainshee: Upgrades Banshee by changing the screech to deal psychic damage instead of sonic damage, and allowing the user to instantly knock out those she selects.

‘No changes since I last looked here.’
Everyone else gets skills added to their classes, but since you already have a whole Skill system, we figured you wouldn’t mind not getting them with your classes.
‘Yeah, I’m fine without those.’ Izumi thinks, moving on to her Shaman class, which had been renamed to ‘Reaper of Wrath’ with it’s classification just being called ‘Shaman Class.’
Shaman Class: Reaper of Wrath

Said shrine has the effect of making the land accident-free. Nobody can die of accidents or otherwise suffer misfortune unless their time is completely up.|
Level 30: Touch of the Dead: The user may touch a wrathful soul and gain a deeper understanding of the dead’s wrath.
Level 35: Grim’s Assistance: Halves the strength of the Mana Draw for A Ferry’s Duty. (From 4x to 2x)
Level 40: Wall from Unexpected: Bends the laws of physics and logic to change the fate of the target of ‘Ward From Unexpected’ so they simply cannot die unless their soul is starting to decay from continuing to stay in the living Plane.
Level 45: Pacifism: Upgrades the strength of ‘Pass on in Peace’s’ aura by double, even allowing some souls to fully drop their chains.
Level 50: Shrine Consecration: Upgrades Shrine Maker to include some divine power from Grim to ensure nobody will die unexpectedly within the shrine’s presence or land. (Range depends on how the user performs the Consecration Rite)

‘Once again, no real differences besides some wording stuff.’

‘Seems SC edited down the Enhanced passives and shifted some stuff around. Good. Though still nothing really changed.’
She knows intrinsically how the Skill Tree works, but she opens it anyway just to see what it looks like.
‘Okay, so to the north we have the Magical skills. Towards south is Physical stuff. East is Crafts, West is Training. I kept all of my main skills unlocked, but I don’t have any passives unlocked here. Things might be added as SC figures out ‘Oh this should be a skill’, so I should probably check back often.’
She nods and notes that down in a Codex page, then moves down to Skills, then starts opening all of the tabs.

Izumi nods to herself and starts reading through her skills. Once that’s done, she spends a moment with her hand on her chin, thinking.
‘Interesting. All of my skills have changed vastly. Mostly taking magical effects that I can create on my own out of them and instead just creating boosts and more physical abilities. Still things I could probably pull off on my own, but while also being things I wouldn’t know about without the menu to tell me about.
Quest Folder Created:
[Mastery Trials]
‘And then there’s that. I need to re-master skills because it seems SC has changed the method of mastering a skill from ‘Learn from a Master’ to ‘Do these things’ since now my skills no longer get soft-capped. Instead they reset upon getting to the max level of the ‘Tier’ or ‘Rank’ of the skill. Novice having a cap of 10 and Adept having a cap of ‘25’ while Mastery is still ‘50.’
‘I need to get started on that soon. It’d rude to think I can teach a subject to Pro Heroes without being a Master of the subject.’
‘My spells menu is empty because SC and the others agreed that Spells needed a better system. Heck, I agree with that. It was so clogged with spells that I decided to not look at it most of the time. Now I have a feeling that a spell will get added if it’s created using the ‘Spellcraft’ skill.’
‘Spellcraft is a form of magic, essentially the ‘art’ of training your Mana to recognize a word, action, phrase, specific shade of orange, whatever, as an activation key for it to do something. Mostly it’s used to make spells take less focus to cast.’
Izumi blinks. ‘Oh, neat, Skill Intrinsic Knowledge. That rarely happens. So basically, Navi and the others are making me actually put in work to make my Magic do things now.’
Pretty much.
~Navi
She goes back to the main menu and starts looking through the various menus, humming and tapping while she thinks.
‘Fields are areas where I can collect resources from fighting monsters and/or finding materials. Dungeons are the same as they’ve always been. Friends list, Parties, Guild, Codex, Map, Phone, and Internet all really have the same functions with some small upgrades for ease of use.’
Izumi nods a little absently, and starts planning out what to do for the next few days. Mostly working on her mastery quests, getting Hawks and… Another friend sprung, then teaching the bootcamp.
‘Oh, and kissing my girlfriends. Definitely a lot of that.’ Izumi thinks as she watches Kyoka start humming while holding Eri close after the girl had accidentally bumped into Kirishima and started to spiral about it. ‘And play with Nejire a little, hopefully without pulling her in too hard or pushing her away.’
After finalizing her plans in her head, Izumi nods to herself, and decides to join in on the fun everyone seems to be having playing with their abilities. She uses a new class spell ‘Fog of War.’
The entire area that her friends are playing in suddenly has green mist flow up from the ground and start floating in the air, and she’s acutely aware of everyone’s positions. She can tell her standard ‘Herder’ is just a particularly dark shade of mist, but she decides she’d rather not scare anyone (By anyone, she means specifically Eri, everyone else is fair game), so she turns them into foxes.
She then darts over to Momo and hangs off the taller girl’s back with a grin. Momo tenses for a moment until Izumi speaks. “Hey Momo! I already got a new class. What’cha think?”
Momo relaxes, then plucks Izumi off her back with a giggle, holding her by the hood of her usual ‘adventure’ ensemble. “I think you’re adorable and the fact that you have probably chosen the two most eerie classes one could ever get is very funny. I couldn’t even sense you in the fog.”
“Yeah, now when I’m in any form of fog or mist, my presence gets so destroyed that no magic or tech can pick me up. It takes a bit of conscious effort to turn it off. Sorry for sneaking up on you.” Izumi says, actually having misplaced that info when she got the idea to hop on her girlfriend’s back.
Momo shrugs, seemingly about to let it go, then she thinks better of it. “I’ll forgive you, for a price.”
Izumi raises an eyebrow.
“Kiss me.” Momo says, and her cheeks redden, embarrassed by herself and the stray thought that she’d let take control for a moment. She lets go of Izumi’s hood.
Izumi snorts and starts floating, giving Momo a quick kiss. “I’d french you right now, but that’s really not your thing.” Izumi whispers.
Meanwhile, she thinks ‘Yay, already started on one of my goals!’ She snorts at that thought, but just gives Momo a wave to say ‘Nothin’ when she gives a questioning look.
“Wanna head over to Eri and Kyoka? They look cozy.” Izumi asks, and Momo nods.
Thus ends the ‘Class-Upgrade workshop.’
