Chapter Text
Twitch couldn’t see anything. She could hardly move. She couldn’t move her hands to feel her way around. She ached in a way she didn’t know was possible. There was only quiet darkness around her.
The world around her remained quiet for a few moments, until she saw two striking red lights pierce the darkness.
“HELLO? WHERE AM I? WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME? WHO ARE YOU?” She shouted out into the inky blackness around her.
The figure approached her saying nothing.
“IM NOT SCARED OF YOU!” Twitch lied.
“Shhhhhh. Hush, little bird.” The figure said with a discomforting calmness.
Twitch paused, taken aback. “What? W-who are you? How do you know who I am? And where am I?” She demanded.
“I am the one they call Tarn. I am the leader of the Decepticon Justice Division, the force tasked with carrying out punishment to traitors to our cause. As for where we are, we are on board the Peaceful Tyranny, on Cybertron.” He spoke in a soft yet threatening voice.
Suddenly she had a hundred more questions. As her mind began racing she only managed to say “Cybertron?! What?! No- HOW?! WHY?!” She has interrupted by Tarn shushing her once more. “STOP THAT!” She demanded, trying not to sound scared.
“How intimidating.” He said as he knelt right in front of her, his red optics piercing into her soul.
“L-listen, I’m not a traitor to the Decepticons, this is all a big misunderstanding!” Twitch insisted, not hiding her fear at this point.
“I know. That isn’t why you’re here.” Tarn explained in a cold voice.
Thats when a thought came to Twitch. “This is about Megatron, isn’t it?” She shouted out.
“Indeed. Our lord, Megatron has betrayed his own cause. Such treachery must punished with the highest degree.” Tarn explained.
She thrashed against her cage trying to break free. “He’s not gonna let you kill him! I know he won’t!” She insisted.
“You are so naïve, little bird.” Tarn said coldly.
“What? Stop calling me that!” Twitch paused for a moment.
Tarn held up his arm cannon to Twitch’s cage and began charging.
Twitch felt her spark pounding as the blinding light filled her vision. “NO NO PLEASE!” The panic in her voice evident.
“Megatron will come, but he won’t fight. Not when he knows what is on the line.” Tarn said gravely, not lowering his cannon
Her mind was racing. Heat radiated from the cannon, as pure white light engulfed her.
After a few moments, Tarn silently powered down his arm cannon. The only light left was from his optics.
Twitch couldn’t speak, her spark were racing. Her mind was flooded with panic.
Tarn began to walk away, leaving the room shrouded in darkness once more. Before he left, he spoke once more. “A word of advice. Befriend the darkness. Its the one thing here incapable of hurting you. Rest well, Little Bird.”
