Carlton Lassiter would NOT have internalized homophobia and i will not stand for this slander 💔💔

Now Shawn Spencer on the other hand,,,,,

Low-key think Lassiter having internalized homophobia is accurate BECAUSE of the lesbian moms:

Lassiter being averse to their relationship at first and then warming up to it later/accepting it is the epitome of internalized homophobia.

Not to say Shawn doesn't have it too but they are both insanely repressed gays who just deal with it in different ways:

Carlton, by pushing it down and Shawn, by jokingly pursuing men in public constantly

the wonderboys fandom is so nonexistent that when you find ANY content of it its from like 2014 or its about how robert and tobey are gay. like we get it i was suprised to but what abt the actual story😓

this is too real; I loved this movie

Prof. Tripp and James' relationship was so paternal and family-like but at the same time kept so professional. at no point during the movie could you forget that James was his student, and I think that's an important plot line considering at the end; we're left wondering if they're even in contact anymore after 90% of the movie was about their profound bond.

But, I'm not saying Tripp didn't understand him. He absolutely did. Maybe not entirely, and maybe they had their differences, but you could tell by how they interacted compared to any other character interacting with James, that they definitely understand each other to a notable extent. Maybe because Tripp sees himself in James, maybe because James is just a better writer with a better drive, maybe because Tripp is worried, or maybe it's because he's curious about James, god only knows.

Anyways, I like to imagine Tripp calls James in NY every weekend :3

braces headcanons because i got them yesterday and they're kicking my ass

shawn: got braces at 12 and broke 8 brackets after having them for a day and a half. he needed them til he was 15 and was supposed to wear a retainer for two years after (he lit it on fire with a road flare immediately after getting it)

gus: needed braces for two years and had so much anxiety about looking after them. his mom told him he needed to brush them more so he wouldn't get cavities, and he started carrying the dental care aisle of a drug store with him in his backpack

jules: she lies and tells people she didn't need them to avoid explaining that she had to wear headgear for the entirety of middle school

lassie: he has a high pain tolerance for everything except his teeth. he had to wear orajel and wax on the brackets the entire time he had braces (ages 11-17)

a/n: i am so sorry i haven't written in literal weeks, life has been shit recently.. take this poem i wrote for my gf instead!

i don't want you to kiss me; i want you to hold me while i lay in your arms and absorb the heat leftover from your body.

i'm not sure how it would feel to have your hands in my hair, but i know how your face would look when the morning sun glistens over your skin.

i wish i was sitting on your floor right now, watching as melodic melodies were mumbled under your breath as you read.

i want to walk into a room and smell you, even if you're miles away.

some days i remember that these fantasies might be real, that one day i might see you without glasses and makeup,

that there's a chance i could feel your sheets on my skin over my clothes,

that maybe, just maybe, i could be one of your favorite memories the same way i make up these of you.
