Wow, you sure are answering a lot today!

I won’t bother you with a long message. Your webcomic was an influence on me and a formative positive experience with this fandom that brought me back. I even run my own webcomic now, and I get asks excited to poke my brain about a world people enjoy, which is… wild, because all that time I remembered being a kid, asking questions here. I’m not here to plug my work, that’d be against what I’m about here, this is about me coming back when I saw an opportunity, not to ask, but to say:

Thank you. All of you who run this blog. Your work inspired people out there, some indirectly through small influence, some moreso such as myself. Cheers!

And now I’m a withering husk filled with nothing but love and gratitude.

I've been following you since I was at *least* 15. I am turning 20 this month. I don't know how to feel about this fact. The fact you're still kicking is insane /pos

I am in an rpg with some new people I met on a discord server. Two of them have later private messages me and gone “You made AFAC didn’t you!” Followed quickly by “I loved AFAC when I was a kid” …Bear in mind I was very much an adult when I started AFAC, and it doesn’t feel very long ago that I started it. But now I’m being confronted by these ex-children who see things I made as nostalgic. It’s a trip and a half.

Then my dad, who is a teacher, said to me “Some of my colleagues are former students of mine. How do you think I feel?” And yeah he’s got me there.

does toriel have a maiden/alternate last name that i could use? given how she doesn't enjoy being called dreemurr.

Toriel has no maiden name. In fact most monsters don’t have last names. Having them at all implies a certain level of nobility and can even come across as pompous in certain contexts.

bdwarrior1 asked:

What were some future arks for AFAC that you never got to do?

There is only one potential arc that I fully decided against. It would have involved going to Atlantis in order to reconnect them to the rest of the world. In AFAC-world, Atlantis is another refuge for monsterkind that was built during the human-monster war, although rather than having a barrier, they simply sunk their whole city underwater and adapted to an aquatic existence. They don’t have a barrier, but they do still forbid anyone from leaving, thus any undersea explorers in small submarines who may have accidentally found them were quickly kidnapped and made to live out their days in Atlantis. Frisk and/or whoever went with them on that trip would have been in a situation like that and had to figure out how to navigate the situation somehow.

I decided against it because I wanted instead to focus on arcs that cause the main cast to change and grow in some way. While the Atlantis arc might’ve been fun from a world building perspective, it didn’t push the main characters in any new directions or develop them further, thus it felt too… like a filler episode, ya know?

I am not steve.

If you have silksong too, can you please?

I do have Silksong. But I haven’t gotten past the first boss so not much to say about it yet. Crazy how the first boss is Hornet, but from an alternate universe where everyone’s good at skateboard tricks. In her second phase she puts on some sick shades.
