    glossy floor tiles are a popular choice in the caribbean because they can stay cool throughout the day.it was summer and i had just gotten out of the shower and immediately slathered my feet in lotion.what happens next will surprise you!for a moment i thought i was just dizzy until i heard my dad leap out of the bed two doors downand my mom start shouting in a panic.i then procceded to slip and slide my way down the hallway and to the porch because????we had earthquake drills in school when i was like 7 but that had been a WHILE ago.anyway.favorite hobby in the first half of the 2010s was waking up in the middle of the night to stuff swayinghopping on facebook and seeing everyone across the island 'YOOOO WAS THAT AN EARTHQUAKE? LMAO'instead of. yknow. getting to safety.i was no longer living there when the big clusters happened in around 2017?two back to back destructive hurricanes only for MONTHS worth of crazy earthquakes to follow.it was a rough time to be a puerto rican.last straw to make the last of my family move.
