Sheer Yakh is the most famous and amazing dessert that is enjoyed a lot in Afghanistan. Sheeryakh simply means frozen milk.

This traditional Afghan dessert is perfect for the ones with a sweet tooth, because it’s so sweet yet so flavorful! “Sheer Pira” means “sweet milk” in Dari (the language spoken in Afghanistan) and this is exactly what this dessert is: a sweet milk fudge flavored with rose water, cardamom and pistachios. If you love fudges, you will love this one too!
