Offer small amounts of two or three foods per baby's meal (twice per day at 6 months), including: 1) A high iron food (meat or alternative) 2) Food high in vitamin C (fruit or vegetable) 3) High-calorie food (if one of the above foods is not high in calories). Victoria | Baby led weaning recipes | London on Instagram: "BLW Diaries Day 7 - Banana Spinach Pancakes  These pancakes are naturally sweetened with banana what makes them a nutritious breakfast treat!  Recipe for ~ 12-15 mini pancakes  1 ripe banana 1/2 cup rolled oats 1 egg 1 handful spinach 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon  1/2 tsp baking powder a drop of vanilla extract butter for frying  Serve with:  Greek yoghurt raspberries   Blend all of the ingredients together until smooth. Preheat the pan on a medium heat. Spoon out tablespoon amounts of batter and form small circles on a thinly greased pan to cook (I use IKEA sauce bottle with wider cut head hole to shape perfectly round pancakes). Once you see a few bubbles, flip over the pancakes and cook for a minute on the other side. The truth is that there is no rule for this⁣⁣⁣🤷‍♀️⁠⁣⁣⁣⁠

👉 Each baby has their own needs and these can even change from one day to another. What matters is to give your little one the opportunity to eat and let them show you how much they need.

⏰ We recommend offering solids around similar times each day, and slowly adding in meals as they seem interested. ⁣⁣⁣⁠Some babies eat 1-2 “meals” per day right away, and others take more time to learn. ⁣⁣⁣⁠

🍽 We like to start with one meal so that you and baby are not overwhelmed with the new skill they are learning. ⁠⁣⁣⁣⁠As baby learns to eat, there will be a natural progression to adding another meal.

🌟a lunch that takes under 10 mins to make, super friendly on the purse too 

🌟for those new to BLW, you can mash the beans first before mixing in the egg

👶🏻 BLW Suitable from 6m+
❄️ Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months

INGREDIENTS
▫️200g / 1/2 tin baked beans 
▫️2 eggs

1. Mix the ingredients well and season 
2. Over medium heat, fry a tablespoon amount at a time 
3. Do not flip until after a few mins, once it’s started to cook through 
4. It will fall apart if you go too early 
5. Cook on the other side, until cooked through
6. Serve and enjoy

Combine with cooked pasta. Couldn’t be easier! Join your LO and add some Parmesan to your portion of pesto or grate some on top of the final dish.
