Potomac Floral Wholesale on Instagram: "New favorite tulip, “Columbus.” 🌷   It’s been catching my eye in the cooler, but so many times at the wholesale house, I actually miss flowers at their best. See, these tulips spend a whole week out of the cooler, growing, opening, and coming into their color. That’s not typically how we send them out. We send them out tight and closed and let them open on your end, so I never get to see them in their prime!   Seeing these “Columbus” tulips open was such a delight. The yellow and coral combination fades into a dusty, antiqued version of itself. Just bright enough and just muted enough for literally anything!   Oh, and the double petals open unfurl to expose a beautiful, contrasting center. So yummy.
