This project is relatively simple and takes learning about lines into the third dimension. I posted about this project back in 2013 and it was one of my most popular blog posts. Line game for kindergarten and 1st grade I wasn't sure how this game would work with my kiddos but it has been a great success. I used to create games like this when I was a classroom teacher for students' sight words and math facts, so why not for art?! This week, Kindergarten is learning about lines, and they're creating their very own line sculpture! I love how well they are listening, how hard they are working, and how unique each little sculpture is! We got our inspiration from, a super fun art teacher in Nashville, Cassie Stephens.
