Jess | Sensory Play with a sprinkle of mindfulness on Instagram: "⚠️ Warning ⚠️ this is really really messy play and a whole heap of fun!! CHIA SLIME Another one of my favourite messy play bases. Here’s what you’ll need 🟢 1/4 cup chia seeds 🟢 2 cups water (you can always add more if you want a slimier consistency 🟢 Food colouring 🟢 1/2 cup corn flour I tripled the recipe for me to be able to use this between 2 trofast tubs. You can literally use this base for any theme or simply for some fun messy play - just change the colour! Let me know if you’ve given this a go and how?! • • • #chiaslime #messyplayidea #messyplayanyway #messyplay #sensoryplay #sensoryplayideas #learnthroughplay #playhacks #earlyyearslearning" Messy Play Sensory Activities, Sensory Based Activities, Messy Play For Preschoolers, Chia Seed Sensory Play, Messy Play Activities Preschool, Messy Play Ideas Preschool, Chia Slime, Chia Seed Slime, Messy Play For Toddlers

KAYLA | Life with Little Loves on Instagram: "Throw in some cornflour next time you do water play and you’ve got magic water 😉 I mentioned mathematical skills in the reel but there are so many more reasons why water play is magic for eaelt years development both physically and cognitively. As with all sensory play, fine and gross motor skills are best developed through play. Then there is all the vocabulary building happening, which is a benefit I really notice with my own children in play, the way they begin to describe what they’re doing, seeing, feeling etc. So many more, too many to list in a reel caption 😉 Because I always get asked, this tray is from @kmartaus . . . #sensoryplay #waterplay #earlyyearsideas #earlyyearslearning #finemotorskills #playislearning #playathome #easyp Water Play Activity For Preschool, Water Play Indoors, Messy Play Activities For Preschoolers, Sensory Physical Activities, Water Messy Play, Water Tray Activities Eyfs, Water Play Ideas For Preschool, Water Activity For Toddlers, Sensory Play Ideas Preschool

Kara Weatherall | Learning through play on Instagram: "Flower soup 🌻🌷🪻 Sometimes the most simple ideas are the most fun. 🙏🏼 One of my beautiful friends dropped off some flowers last week and they were starting to look a little sad, so we decided to add them to some water and make flower soup. It literally took me 2mins to fill up our tuff tray from @thecreativetoyshop with some water and a little cornflour to make it cloudy, and throw in the flowers. We also added some spoons and bowls so we could make some flower soup. What I loved the most about this was it was an activity that entertained all three of the boys (Mr 1,Mr 3 and Mr6) for at least 45mins, and then the clean up entertained them even longer. It had been over a week since we had done any sort of sensory/messy play be Flower Sensory Bin For Toddlers, Non Messy Tuff Tray Ideas, Flower Soup Sensory, Sensory Play For Kindergarten, Water Sensory Bin Ideas, Water Tuff Tray, Messy Play Activities Preschool, Water Tuff Tray Ideas, Baby Tuff Tray Ideas
