Kelly Ruther | Doctor of Physical Therapy on Instagram: "Do you have an overactive or tight pelvic floor?! If so, it may be due to weakness in your glutes! 🤯 Oftentimes, when a muscle is overworking it’s compensating for another muscle not doing its job properly…. The glutes are a large group of muscles that are supposed to provide significant stability to our pelvis and low back… But when they aren’t doing their job properly, the pelvic floor has to overwork ultimately causing tightness and dysfunction. If you believe your pelvic floor is overworking due to your glutes underworking, give this exercise a try! And if you want to optimize your body while reducing pain and improving function, I have plenty of great advice on my page so be sure to follow along! #backpain #leaking #pelv Weak Pelvic Floor Symptoms, Relaxing Pelvic Floor Muscles, Tight Pelvic Floor, Pelvic Pain Relief, Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercise, Pelvic Floor Therapy, Doctor Of Physical Therapy, Pelvic Floor Exercises
