Here are some tips for washing long locs 👇🏾

1. Come prepared mentally because it can take a while. Accepting this is important because it helps you power through when you start to get tired 🥱

2. Wash as early in the morning as possible! This is to give your hair enough time to fully dry, which takes significantly longer with long locs 💦

3. Washing in sections is a useful tip, washing all that hair is one go is not only difficult but can make you miss spots that you wouldn’t when washing in sections 🌴

I used to swim 3 times per week and I would shampoo my locs after every swim. There is a huge misconception about shampooing locs.
