A lovely family home rests just below a forested mountain in beautiful British Columbia ⛰️🌳 . This was such a wonderful embroidery project to work on as I have seen this home in person. The landscape surrounding this area has already inspired previous pieces of mine. The lush green forests are so fresh, and after that trip is when I first attempted to create mini textile mountains. My aerial embroideries larger than 3 inches in size, typically 4-10 inches across. These larger sizes allow me to include more textures and details in my landscapes and I love to experiment with new things! I also include more 3D elements in these larger ones, like hills and overpasses.
